Grant Thornton Advisors has standardised its managed security services on the CrowdStrike Falcon platform, anchored by Falcon Complete, as it expands global managed security services capabilities.
The companies said the shift consolidates Grant Thornton Advisors’ managed security service provider (MSSP) operations around a unified operating model, with delivery to be built on CrowdStrike’s “Agentic MDR” approach, which uses software agents to automate parts of managed detection and response (MDR) workflows alongside human analysts.
“Our clients don’t need more tools – they need security that actually works,” said Tony Buffomante, national managing partner of cyber and risk services at Grant Thornton Advisors. “With Falcon Complete at the core of our managed security operations, we’re pairing CrowdStrike’s detection and response capabilities with our advisory, incident response, and managed engineering expertise to help clients move from reactive security postures to proactive, measurable protection wherever our clients are located. That’s what outcome-driven security looks like – and it’s what our clients are asking for.”
As part of the move, Grant Thornton Advisors said it is introducing a portfolio of managed services, including tiered MDR offerings and managed engineering services, adding threat hunting, automated response and platform optimisation on top of Falcon Complete.
The announcement also comes as Grant Thornton Advisors continues to expand its advisory business through acquisitions, including Auxis and Stax, and a recently announced agreement to acquire MCA Connect. The company said its platform spans nearly 20 markets with almost 25,000 professionals.
