Australian technology innovator BQT Solutions has launched a new range of mini proximity and smart card readers known as their ‘Custodian’ series.
These stylish new readers utilise state of the art ‘green’ technology, drawing a meagre 60ma of electricity in power save mode and offers a wide operating range from 7 to 20vDC.
They have been designed with architects and users in mind, measuring a sleek 88.55mm (H) x 42.95mm (W) x 20.70mm (D) or not much bigger than a pack of chewing gum.
The line-up consists of the BM680 Proximity (Multi-format) Reader, M682 Mifare Classic ( CSN or BQT sector), BM684 Mifare/DESfire (CSN or BQT sector) and BM686 Mifare/DESfire/3DES (Custom keys & formats).
These readers are all covered by a 5 year warranty.
They are intended to service the full spectrum of access control card applications and provide a seamless upgrade path for existing Proximity and Mifare users to migrate to a more secure platform.
