UK email-based threat protection company BeamSec has launched its Managed Cybersecurity Awareness Service in collaboration with Gulf Cyberfender Hub (GCH). The service, hosted on the highly secure GCH Dubai Datacenter, aims to deliver cybersecurity awareness training and simulation tools designed to strengthen defences against email-based cyber threats.
The September 16, 2024, launch event, held at GCH’s facility in Dubai, brought together key players in the cybersecurity industry to discuss the future of managed services in the UAE and the growing importance of localised cybersecurity solutions.
GCH is a global technology consulting and digital solutions company operating from six locations worldwide, including Dubai. With this collaboration, BeamSec and GCH aim to provide UAE organisations with top-tier cybersecurity tools and training, ensuring that businesses across the region are better equipped to handle the evolving cyber threat landscape.
BeamSec’s cybersecurity awareness simulation and training platform will now be locally managed in the UAE and offers organisations a comprehensive suite of tools to simulate real-world cyber-attacks and educate employees on recognising and responding to threats. The platform will operate fully within the UAE’s borders, ensuring compliance with the country’s strict data security regulations.
Executives from both companies shared their excitement about the collaboration, emphasising the importance of local managed services in protecting against the increasing frequency and sophistication of cyber threats in the region.
