Retail trading platform Capital.com has launched a public bug bounty program hosted on crowdsourced security platform, Intigriti. The company says the initiative highlights its proactive approach to cybersecurity and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cybersecurity and to the safety of its users’ assets and data.
The bug bounty programme invites security researchers and ethical hackers from around the world to identify and report potential software security vulnerabilities within Capital.com’s platforms. In return for their expertise and efforts, participants can earn cash rewards based on the severity and impact of the vulnerabilities they uncover.
“At Capital.com, we take our responsibility to protect our customers seriously,” said Head of IT Security Pavel Krasilevich. “By launching this public bug bounty program, we are not only opening our doors to the brightest minds in cybersecurity but also taking active steps to stay ahead of potential threats. This initiative reflects our proactive approach to safeguarding our platform and users, and we are excited to collaborate with the global cybersecurity community to help ensure our platform remains both trusted and secure.”
Security researchers interested in participating can find detailed guidelines and submission criteria on the Intigriti platform. All security researchers must agree to Capital.com’s terms and conditions and adhere to disclosure guidelines to participate in the program.
