Selection was highly competitive. “Fortinet’s Australian partners have all contributed to significant growth,” says McGettingan, “and it was difficult to select the best amongst so many outstanding partners. Partner of the Year Platinum Category | Australia: Fujitsu Australia Ltd
Fujitsu Australia has continued to demonstrate substantial year-on-year revenue growth across the breadth of the Fortinet portfolio ranging from remote access, next generation firewalls and wireless solutions. As a result of the closer engagement with Fujitsu Australia, Fortinet has been able to accelerate its growth within the retail, utilities, education, government and enterprise markets.

“Fujitsu prides itself in providing innovative and enterprise-ready products to our clients,” says Fujitsu’s Vice President of Platforms Oceania, Alistair Latham. “The relationships that we hold with key partners such as Fortinet allow us to do exactly this. The Fortinet security products are acknowledged as world class and I would like to thank our joint sales teams for achieving this Platinum Partner Award.”

Partner of the Year Authorised-Gold Category | Australia: Communications Design and Management (CDM) (Silver Partner)
CDM has experienced significant revenue growth with Fortinet, its success driven by larger deal sizes, joint marketing initiatives and closer engagement with Fortinet. CDM has achieved significant sales led by their Canberra team focussing on the defence portfolio. CDM’s efforts in promoting Fortinet with joint trade show sponsorship and bespoke end user events has fostered the positive results shown last year, and has provided a springboard for a closer national relationship with Fortinet as a key technology partner.

“With Fortinet, we can build lasting customer relationships in a very competitive market in Canberra,” says David Welch, General Manager of CDM Canberra Branch. “We have actively promoted Fortinet’s solutions for a number of years and with Fortinet’s technological advances revolving around their FortiOS 5.4 and Secure Access Architecture, we have the resources to further engage with our security-conscious government clients including defence.”
Rookie Partner of the Year Category | Australia: The Missing Link
The Missing Link’s security practice joined the Fortinet Partner Program in Q3 2015 and have built success from a standing start to significant customer wins. The Missing Link Security now has multiple opportunities in the pipeline selling across both core and enhanced technologies. Their success is due to a tailored end user experience and collaborative approach with the Fortinet channel and sales teams. In addition, they have prioritised NSE certifications across their technical team to create success in revenue growth, partner status uplift and a strong pipeline.
“Our adoption of Fortinet’s security solutions was a highly significant initiative on our part,” says Aaron Bailey, Director of The Missing Link Security. “Fortinet offered by far the most diverse, technologically advanced solution set and their local sales and support team were second to none. Our decision to standardise with Fortinet as our security vendor of choice has been amply rewarded with increased sales and, now, international recognition.”

“With partners like these,” says Genevieve White, Channel Sales Director – Australia at Fortinet, “we have placed ourselves to continue our growth trajectory across Australia. We look forward to working with these outstanding partners, and indeed our entire partner network, to secure Australian enterprises and organisations in an increasingly threatened cyber environment.”
