Hewlett Packard Enterprise has announced new guarantees for HPE Alletra Storage MP B10000 to strengthen cyber resilience, optimise energy efficiency and eliminate data loss. New entry-level HPE StoreOnce backup and recovery appliances will simplify data protection.

“Across Asia Pacific, organisations are facing rising cyber threats, growing data volumes, and increased pressure to optimise IT operations with fewer resources”, said HPE’s Justin Chiah.

“With these latest enhancements and the expansion of our StoreOnce portfolio, HPE is empowering customers with enterprise-grade data protection, cyber resiliency, and energy-efficient storage that scales from the edge to the core,” he added. “These future-ready innovations give businesses of all sizes the confidence and agility to accelerate digital transformation securely and sustainably.”

HPE introduced the following new service-level agreements and guarantees designed to protect and future-proof customers’ IT infrastructure:

  • Zero data loss and downtime guarantee eliminates recovery time with high-availability, synchronous replication known as active peer persistence.
  • Cyber resiliency guarantee ensures access to recoverable immutable snapshots and urgent access to outage recovery experts within 30 minutes or less of a reported ransomware incident.
  • Energy consumption guarantee ensures storage operates to an optimal power level for peak performance and that energy consumption stays below a set threshold.

These new guarantees join the existing ones available to B10000 customers as part of the HPE Storage Future-Ready Program, including 100% data availability, StoreMore data efficiency for at least 4:1 cost savings, and a free, non-disruptive controller refresh for 30% lower TCO.

To address the data protection challenges faced by remote office/branch offices and small and medium-sized businesses, HPE also expanded its StoreOnce backup and recovery appliance portfolio. New entry-level HPE StoreOnce 3720 and 3760 models, ideal for edge deployments, will:

  • Scale from 18 terabytes (TB) to 216TB of local usable capacity (and up to 648TB usable capacity with optional cloud storage);
  • Deliver 20:1 typical data reduction and backup speeds of up to 25TB per hour; and
  • Protect data from cyber threats with multi-factor authentication, encryption and immutability.

The latest additions to HPE’s data protection portfolio are estimated to be 67% denser for constrained spaces, use 29% less power, and are optimised with leading backup software.

The new guarantees for IT outcomes are now available as part of the HPE Storage Future-Ready Program. HPE StoreOnce 3720 and 3760 will be available early in the third quarter of 2025.
