Oracle Defense Ecosystem Debuts

0

Oracle has released the Oracle Defense Ecosystem, a first-of-its-kind global initiative to redefine the delivery of defence and government technology innovation. The ecosystem is designed to strengthen US and allied national security and help accelerate the disruptive potential of emerging defence technology by creating new opportunities for defence innovators to leverage the latest cloud and AI technologies.

Initial members of the Oracle Defense Ecosystem include Arqit, Blackshark.ai, Entanglement, Fenix Group, now part of Nokia Federal Solutions, Koniku, Kraken, Mattermost, Metron, SensusQ, and Whitespace.

“Nothing is more important than the national security of the US and its allies, and Oracle has been a cornerstone of this mission for nearly 50 years,” said Oracle VP Rand Waldron. “Oracle and our defence ecosystem plans to innovate and scale to help the US and its allies deter conflicts and win on physical and digital battlefields.”

National security teams are often unable to access the latest cloud and AI technologies, especially from up-and-coming technology vendors, due to complex procurement processes, strict qualification standards, and the relationship networks required to gain admission into the defence industrial base.

To address these challenges and enable the US and its allies to access the most advanced defence technology, the Oracle Defense Ecosystem will build on Oracle’s decades of defence and intelligence expertise and leverage Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, which is used by the defence and government sector and meets its strict compliance requirements.

Defence and government technology organizations that join the Oracle Defense Ecosystem can accelerate growth by quickly and easily accessing the following capabilities from Oracle and its partners:

  • Oracle sales support: Members can work with Oracle’s sales team, which serves hundreds of thousands of customers worldwide, to develop global defence industry messaging and solutions that best meet each customer’s unique needs and leverage solutions from within the ecosystem to deliver unmatched technology innovation to defence organizations.
  • Palantir for Builders: Members can leverage Palantir Foundry and artificial intelligence platform on OCI. Palantir’s end-to-end software platform helps early-stage companies with internal operations, product development, LLM integration, security, and governance.
  • Oracle cloud marketplace: Members can make their solutions available to customers in every OCI region globally. Oracle Cloud Marketplace offers a continuous integration/continuous deployment pipeline for delivering updates and new features directly to customers, wherever they are.
  • Defense acquisition guidance: Members can work with Oracle’s dedicated executive advisors to gain the defence, technology, and procurement expertise they need to accelerate growth.
  • Cybersecurity maturity model certification (CMMC) acceleration: By leveraging the OCI Core Landing Zone, members can significantly speed up CMMC compliance, helping save months of manual work mapping controls and setting up compliance-ready cloud architecture.
  • Secure cloud computing architecture (SCCA) compliance: Members can reduce the time and cost of building SCCA-compliant deployments, standardize their security approach across entire system portfolios, and simplify workload deployment by leveraging the Oracle Cloud Native SCCA Landing Zone framework and documentation while tapping into Oracle’s expertise in these areas.
  • Oracle NetSuite: Members will have access to preferred pricing for NetSuite’s AI-powered business management suite, which is trusted by more than 42,000 organizations to streamline business processes and provide a scalable foundation for growth.
