Abstract submissions for the 2017 Search and Rescue Conference are now open.
Interested parties wishing to address delegates are invited to submit an abstract for either a 30 minute concurrent presentation or 15 minute presentation as part of a 90 minute forum. You may present a case study, industry updates, new initiative or project.
Topics to be presented and discussed include:
- Technology and Operations
- Multi-Agency Response
- Training
- Role of Police in Land and Maritime SAR
- Stakeholders
- Working in and with Organisations
- International SAR including Humanitarian SAR
- Support the mental health of SAR workers
- SAR Case Studies on specific areas: Urban SAR; Marine SAR; Mine SAR; Humanitarian SAR
- Open
The 2017 Conference will be held at Jupiters Gold Coast, QLD on 24 May with the Disaster and Emergency Management Conference held the two days prior on 22 to 23 May.
