Trend Micro has announced a major step in advancing cybersecurity for artificial intelligence environments, unveiling new integrations with NVIDIA technologies to deliver full-stack protection for next-generation AI factories.
The partnership embeds Trend Micro’s protection capabilities directly into NVIDIA’s data centre infrastructure through NVIDIA BlueField Data Processing Units (DPUs). This allows organisations to build, deploy, and operate AI workloads with enhanced security and scalability across multi-tenant environments, while meeting regulatory and compliance obligations.
NVIDIA’s BlueField DPU offloads, accelerates, and isolates infrastructure and security functions from central processing units, improving efficiency and containment. Trend Vision One Endpoint Security — deployed on BlueField — monitors host and network telemetry, correlating it with Trend’s threat intelligence to detect suspicious activity in real time. The solution provides agentless endpoint detection and response (EDR) across large-scale AI deployments.
Trend Micro’s platform has also been validated on NVIDIA RTX PRO Servers, bringing enterprise-grade protection to high-performance AI systems. It is included in the NVIDIA AI Factory for Government reference design, which provides end-to-end deployment guidance for secure AI workloads in regulated and high-assurance environments such as defence and federal agencies.
Rachel Jin, Chief Enterprise Platform Officer at Trend Micro, said securing the new generation of AI systems is critical to safe and sustainable innovation.
“Agentic AI promises to unleash a new era of productivity, efficiency, and business agility, but only if we build it on secure foundations,” Jin said. “Our combined offering with NVIDIA establishes a new benchmark for zero-trust enforcement and AI-native threat detection at scale.”
Ofir Arkin, Senior Distinguished Architect for Cybersecurity at NVIDIA, said the collaboration addresses one of the biggest challenges facing enterprises today — how to secure complex AI factories without constraining innovation.
“By integrating with NVIDIA BlueField, Trend Vision One establishes a new class of endpoint detection and response for AI factories, combining hardware-enforced isolation with real-time threat insights to safeguard critical AI assets at the data centre layer,” Arkin said.
Beyond infrastructure security, Trend Micro is extending its protection to the application layer with Trend Vision One AI Application Security (AI Guard). This integrates with NVIDIA NeMo Guardrails, a framework for securing and managing large language model (LLM) interactions. Together, the technologies provide guardrails for content moderation, privacy, and system integrity across Agentic AI systems.
The integrated platform enhances AI safety in three key areas:
- Content Moderation: Filters toxic or biased outputs without impacting inference speed.
- Security: BlueField-accelerated isolation prevents prompt injection and jailbreak attacks.
- Privacy: Built-in encryption, regulatory compliance, and zero-trust segmentation safeguard data across environments.
By combining infrastructure-level defences with application-layer guardrails, Trend Micro and NVIDIA are positioning their joint solution as a foundation for secure, scalable, and compliant AI operations — from data centres to real-time Agentic AI deployments.
