CloudCentral appoints executive and advisory boards

CloudCentral, an Australian innovator of cloud computing services, has announced a series of new hires and appointment of executive and advisory boards. The company has confirmed Wilhelmina Duyvestyn as Director Product Management and Marketing and the launch of Executive and Global Advisory Boards.

As Director, Product Management, Wilhelmina brings with her more than 15 years’ specialist experience in global and regional senior product management and marketing roles in the IT Industry. She has previously held roles including Director of Product and Solution marketing covering hardware, software and services at VMware, Software AG, Microsoft and NCR. The solutions focus has been Cloud Computing, Big Data, Virtualisation and Server Infrastructure. Wilhelmina and her deep global insights into product management will benefit CloudCentral’s product offering capabilities – moving solution ideas to commercialised outcomes, quickly and with highly saleable features.

Additionally, the company has confirmed the recent establishment of its Executive Board of Directors including the appointment of Roger Buckeridge, Non-Executive Chairman. With almost three decades of venture capital and advisory experience, Roger will work closely with the CloudCentral executive, Board and advisory teams to manage capital investments, outcomes and chart strategic growth plans.

Joining Roger on the Board is Brian Ferreira, Non-Executive Director; Tim Peterson, Non-Executive Director; Russell Evans, Non-Executive Director plus and Kristoffer Sheather, CEO, Founder and Executive Director.

CloudCentral’s first global Advisory Board has been established and members include Kylie Hammond, Chair; Leslie Phillips Sales & Marketing Advisor; Randy Bias Cloud Technology and Market Advisor; Richard Elling, Storage Technology Advisor; Todd Bell, Security Advisor, Mike Van de Wiel, Consulting Advisor, Prem Krithivasan , Partnerships and Channels Advisor and Jack Lo, Financial Advisor.

Announcing these appointments, Founder and CEO of CloudCentral, Kristoffer Sheather outlined; “I am thoroughly delighted to be announcing these appointments of our day-to-day team, Executive Board and Advisory partners. CloudCentral has always focused on bringing unique solution and services purpose built for Cloud Computing to market and the added benefit of these highly skilled individuals will help contribute to our intensive growth plan.”

CloudCentral’s strategic growth program has seen the company additionally streamline its business processes through the extensive use of Software-as-a-Service tools integrated into the CloudCentral Cloud Platform. These streamline the delivery of Pay as You Go, hourly billing and Partner Relationship Management solutions based on technology from partners including Citrix CloudPlatform, Zuora, SalesForce, Quanta, Equinix, NextDC and  Micro Strategy.

The company has also announced its inaugural CloudCentral Partner Program. The Program has been designed to provide tailored, branded and customised cloud platforms for the specific requirements of System Integrators, Telecommunications Providers and Independent Software Vendors.

By productising CloudCentral products as public cloud, virtual private cloud, storage-as-a-service, email-as-a-service and cloud in a box pre converged cloud appliance, the company will assist its partner channel further leverage cloud offerings to increase value to customers and generate new revenue streams from an Australian market valued at $1Billion by 2016.
