Fotech has announced it has appointed Chris Ferguson as its new global Product Owner for Security.

Steve Cammish, Chief Technology Officer at Fotech, says, “We have ambitious plans to ramp up our solutions in the perimeter security sector. Chris is going to be instrumental in achieving not only our own goals, but also those of our customers.

Our technology is world class and Chris’ experience in delivery-focused roles will be key to building successful partnerships and helping our customers to safeguard their perimeters.”

Ferguson says, “Working with such a pioneering technology company and collaborating with people across a wide range of functions is exciting – it is still relatively new but it’s evolving quickly. I look forward to the challenge of taking something that is currently seen by many as a niche product – perimeter security – and helping customers see the real benefits the technology can bring and moving it towards wider adoption.”

Before joining Fotech, Ferguson worked in the energy industry for eight years as an IT service manager, as well as spending the past five years producing mobile and web products in management and development roles. He holds an MSc Project Management from Northumbria University and a BA degree in Architecture from the University of Newcastle.
