The New Zealand Security Association (NZSA) has awarded Gallagher ‘Innovative Security Product of the Year’ at the annual NZSA conference dinner in Auckland, New Zealand. Gallagher’s Z10 Tension Sensor, an intelligent electronic perimeter security device, has been attracting significant attention for product innovation in the global security market and has already won awards in the United States1.
“We’re thrilled to receive this award for our Z10 Tension Sensor” said Curtis Edgecombe, Global General Manager at Gallagher. “We believe this product is world-leading in the field of taut-wire sensor technology so it’s great to see the New Zealand industry acknowledging the work we’re doing in developing security products that compete on the world stage.”
The NZSA award, recognizing innovative excellence in the New Zealand security industry, was presented following judging by a panel of highly-experienced security professionals during the 2014 New Zealand Security Conference & Exhibition.
“We know we’ve developed something special here” said Kahl Betham, Global Product Manager at Gallagher. “The reaction we’re receiving from customers and those in the industry tells us we have created something that overcomes previous limitations in the market place”.
