Simon Howe, LogRhythmLogRhythm, the world’s fastest growing independent security intelligence company, is launching its presence in Australia and New Zealand at the AusCERT 2014 information security conference, being held on the Gold Coast 12-16 May.

Simon Howe, previously Sales Director Mobility Solutions at backup specialist Acronis, has been appointed Director of Sales (Australia and NZ) responsible for developing a channel of security-focused partners that will deliver LogRhythm’s award-winning security intelligence platform to the ANZ market.

Simon Howe said: “Increasingly, organisations are realising that breaches are inevitable.  As such, they are looking for solutions that can help them substantially improve their ability to detect and respond to threats and breaches sooner. Today, LogRhythm’s Security Intelligence Platform delivers that visibility to more than 1500 organisations around the globe.

LogRhythm is kickstarting its investment in the ANZ market as a sponsor at AusCERT (visit Stand No. B39), and plans to build its base from foundation customers, such as Tatts Group Ltd, across federal and state government, manufacturing, mining, education and business via a pure channel strategy. The company’s launch in ANZ continues its expansion and commitment to the Asia Pacific and Japan region (APJ).  LogRhythm’s APJ operation is headquartered in Singapore and headed up by Bill Taylor-Mountford.

Darren Moore, Security Architect at Tatts Group, said: “LogRhythm provides an automated, centralised way to meet PCI and other regulatory requirements.  By providing a single view into log and event data, LogRhythm allows us to quickly identify security events and to provide consolidated data to our operational support teams.”

Channel Plans

Expanding on the achievements of distributor Lan1 over the past 18 months, LogRhythm is now recruiting security focused partners and those with vertical specialisations wanting to add this market-leading offering to their solution portfolio. For prospective partners, LogRhythm is a very attractive proposition as: “We have a 100 percent channel focused business model and an extensive support program that includes technical and sales accreditations,” Howe said.

Recognised as a Leader in Gartner’s Magic Quadrant, LogRhythm’s patented and award-winning security intelligence platform empowers customers to detect and respond to today’s most sophisticated cyber threats — faster and with greater accuracy than ever.
