Netskope has announced Netskope One DataSec Command Center, a central control plane intended to orchestrate data protection across environments including AI services, cloud, network, on-premises systems, endpoints and email.
The company said the product aims to give security teams visibility into sensitive data and its movement, and to provide a workflow from discovery to remediation across multiple enforcement points.
Netskope cited findings from its 2026 Data Security Report to argue that data security programs are hampered by fragmented tooling and slow investigations. According to the report, 58% of organisations run 11 or more data security tools and 7% describe their stack as fully unified. The company also said 68% of security teams take days or longer to reconstruct where sensitive data went after an incident, while 8% can rarely reconstruct it.
The company also pointed to AI adoption as a driver of data risk. It said 98% of organisations now use AI, but only 8% enforce data protection policies consistently in AI environments, and 7% are confident that sensitive data is not flowing uncontrolled into AI.
Netskope said DataSec Command Center ingests signals across its services to correlate relationships between users, devices, data stores and AI assets, and supports investigative workflows, recommended policy changes and remediation actions. Capabilities described include posture and risk discovery across SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, on-premises and endpoint environments; data lineage tracking via integration with Netskope One Data Lineage; and “agentic operations” alongside a Netskope DLP AISecOps Agent intended to support triage and incident response.

The problem isn’t a lack of tools — it’s the massive volume of data, the signals it generates, and the lack of coordination between them.”
Netskope said the product is designed to cover data in motion and at rest across channels including internet traffic, email and endpoints; cloud databases and object stores in AWS, Google Cloud and Azure; SaaS services including Microsoft OneDrive, SharePoint and Google Drive; AI services such as ChatGPT and Anthropic Claude; and PaaS environments including Databricks, Snowflake and vector databases.
Netskope said Netskope One DataSec Command Center will be generally available this quarter as part of the Netskope One platform.
