Tenable has launched the CyberAgents Exchange, an open-source repository designed to help security practitioners discover, share and build AI agents and related components for cyber defence.
The company said the exchange is intended to address a growing pattern in which security teams build AI tools in isolation, duplicating effort and limiting reuse. Tenable positioned the platform as an alternative to general-purpose AI marketplaces and vendor-controlled exchanges, which it argued can create friction for security teams through irrelevant listings or platform lock-in.
According to Tenable, the CyberAgents Exchange is designed to host AI agents, skills, MCP servers and multi-agent playbooks. It also aims to increase transparency by showing who built each component, when it was created, and whether it has community support, which Tenable said would help users assess trust and suitability.
SentinelOne and Recorded Future are participating as founding members, with Tenable saying the companies will contribute agents, integration frameworks and playbooks focused on autonomous security operations and threat intelligence.

Tenable said there are no fees to list or use agents on the platform, and directed prospective contributors to exchange.tenable.com.
